2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new [1] creature [2]: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. [3][4][5]
- ↑ The original word in the Greek text for new is kainos (καινός) means new in kind, unprecedented, novel, uncommon, unheard of... You are not a new and improved version of who you used to be; you are something brand new altogether (Galatians 6:15).
- ↑ The moment you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you received a new life – His life. Your broken and sad life has been traded for His good life. Your are part of the bloodline of champions. Every generational curse has been broken and you have now revceived His evey spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3) for your life.
- ↑ King James Version (KJV)
- ↑ Greek Interlinear: Therefore if any man in Christ, is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
