being born again ^[1], not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God ^[2], which liveth and abide to for ever. ^[3]

↑ To produce again, be born (beget) again or born (beget) anew. Metaphorically: to have one’s mind changed so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God.
